The Highlands features undulating fairways lined with pines and magnificent live oaks draped in Spanish moss.     The first hole features trees guarding either side of the fairway, right in the landing area. The down hill par-5 4th hole offers magnificent views as it sweeps down from the highest point on the course, also giving players their best chance at birdie on the course.     The 6th is a picturesque par 4 with a two-tiered green guarded at the front by a deep bunker and a pond.
